'The Nun' did not survive the polar vortex last winter, much to my dismay, because I do love its' modest but ethereal beauty. Other roses I expected to loose, such as 'Cl. Rose Marie'. 'French Lace'. and 'Ivory Triumph', did grow back. It was a wimpy plant to begin with.

Might it be worthwhile in zone 5 to try again with a stronger plant, such as the 2 year old plants from RU?
