Ever wondered where all those names for roses come from?  Well, when you see 'Pedrus Aquarius' you may scratch your head.  It is a new rose raised by Lionel Poole in Cardiff.  It is in memory of a husband whose name was Peter and whose birth sign was Aquarius.  His widow selected it from a plot of new seedlings when she felt a special energy reaching out to her from the particular rose.
