Registration name: Olive McKenzie
Origin:
Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, 1970).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People as 'Olive McKenzie'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange yellow with red markings.  Strong fragrance.  35 petals.  Large bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  

Height: 39" to 47" (100 to 120cm).  Width: 39" to 43" (100 to 110cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
‘Nanita’ x ‘Suspense’ was also mentioned in a 1972 reference as being the parentage of 'Olive McKenzie'. As there is no record of a 'Nanita', it may have been a George Dawson seedling rose.
