Origin:
Bred by Emil Heizmann (Switzerland, 1906).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, red reverse.  Strong, raspberry fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Helvetia = Latin name for Switzerland.
The rose was originally named 'Alpenglühn' by Heizmann, but then renamed 'Helvetia' due to difficulties in translating the former name into French and English (= sun glow in the Alps)
