Origin:
Bred by Isabella Preston (Canada, 1922).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) as 'Orinda'.
Class:
Hybrid Spinosissima, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Cream.  15 petals.  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:

Height: 5' (150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 9b.  Hardy.  
Breeder's notes:
Open-pollinated seeds of R.Harisonii were sown, and some interesting seedlings were grown. The best one was named Orinda. It is a more attractive plant than the parent and the semi-double flowers are cream...All of these are very hardy, and keep their foliage in good condition until late in the season.
