Introduced in Australia by E.Horton and Co. in 1900 as 'Reine Maria-Christina'.

Bloom:
Yellow, orange shading, carmine-red center.  Medium to large, very double, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Compact, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
