Origin:
Bred by Cebrià Camprubí Nadal (Spain, before 1931).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1935 as 'Pedrálbes'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Butter-yellow, golden-yellow shading, ages to cream .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, lax.  Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
