    To Frank Tealdi who is searching for 'Esperanza'.

    Bill and Muriel Humenick at Rose Acres Nursery in California were once listing this rose. See the 2005 reference.

    Sadly, Bill died in 2008 and the nursery has closed as well.

    Re Notes for Esperanza - Modern Roses 10 Says this rose was awarded the Golden Rose of the Hague in 1968. Other sources say it was 1974.

    That particular award was 1974
