Bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard (1903-1995) (France, 1946).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Andrée Palthey'.

Bloom:
Red.  Mild fragrance.  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bronze-green foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
