New Roses 1936.  Antinea  (Pernt.  J. Gaujard 1934) F. 3.  A very beautiful variety after the style of, but rather deeper than 'Angele Pernet'. The semi-double blooms are variable in coppery orange shades.  Good grower and an acquisition.  A.H.M.Mts.P.S.

Antinea (Gaujaud) is not unlike 'Angele Pernet', but with more red in the coppery colour. The growth is strong, and twenty-five petals build up a beautiful decorative bloom.

Antinea, P. (Ducher). The long-petalled flowers are produced singly and erect on long stems. The colour, dark orange or coral red, is effective, but the long buds have a very blunted appearance at the tip. This may improve in cooler weather or on established plants.Twenty-two petals.

New Roses 1936.  Antinea (HT.  (Pernt.  J. Gaujard 1934) Large, very double flowers of salmon-orange with yellow base, borne singly on long stems. The colour is similar to that of 'Angele Pernet'.  Resistant and brownish red foliage and very vigorous growth. 4/- each.
A very beautiful variety, deeper than 'Angele Pernet'. 25 petals.

Antinéa (Jean Gaujard, obtenteur) (Issue de Julien Potin x semis inédit de Perne-Ducher). Variété de très grand mérite, très vigoureuse et florifère, très érigée. Les fleurs sont isolées sur de longues branches. Le péduncule est long et fort, le foliage resistant est brun rougeatre. La fleur énorme, bien pleine, est d’un coloris orange, genre Angèle Pernet, d’une forme parfaite et possédant un parfum très intense et particulier.
