Introduced in France by URS (Universal Rose Selection)-Meilland as 'Marella'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in 1961 as 'Marella'.
Introduced in Australia by Better Roses (Australia) in 1962 as 'Marella'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Geranium-red, ages to carmine-red .  Mild fragrance.  35 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  

Height: up to 43" (up to 110cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.
