Discovered by L. P. Rosen and Son (Australia, 1923). Discovered by Louis Mermet (France, 1924).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1923 as 'Laurent Carle, Cl.'.

Bloom:
Carmine-red.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Climbing.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Two sports of the 1907 HT discovered. One in Australia and another in France at nearly the same time.
