Introduced in France by Eugene Turbat & Co. in 1921 as 'Ferdinand Pichard'.

Bloom:
Pink, crimson stripes.  Moderate fragrance.  25 petals.  Medium, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, spreading.  Large foliage.  

Height: 4' to 8' (120 to 245cm).  Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  A good subject for pegging.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
