Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery in 1951 as 'First Love'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1952 as 'First Love'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Rose-pink to pink.  Mild fragrance.  20 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very double, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed, ovoid buds.  

Medium, bushy.  Light green, leathery foliage.  

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).  

USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
