Cig. San Fernando  Clg. HT. (Whisler 1951).  The richly fragrant scarlet crimson blooms are produced on vigorous climbing canes. This will be another very welcome addition.

'Climbing Pinkie' (Dering 1952) and 'Climbing San Fernando' (Whisler 1951)  have both been under trial, but so far only a proportion of plants show true climbing growth. Further testing and selection appears to be necessary.
