Registration name: Cardinal Mercier
Origin:
Bred by Victor Lens (1889 - 1969) (Belgium, 1930).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Cardinal Mercier'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, orange shading.  Dark salmon pink tinted orange.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Large, glossy, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
