Discovered by L. C. Späth (Germany, 1930).
Introduced in Germany by Wirtz & Eicke in 1930 as 'Frau Astrid Späth'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Very double, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 16" (40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Mrs. Astrid Späth was celebrated as the prototype of a sporty, active girl in the August 1928 edition of the "Vogue" magazine.
