Cameras don't seem to be able to capture the colour of this rose properly. Photos make it look like an average flat rose pink with white undertones, but that's not true to life, and it's unfortunate. In person it is vivid to the point of being striking - people can't help but stare.
An extremely underrated rose that does deserve more attention as was described on the description page. In the unmaintained garden in Columbus, it grows quite large and puts on a show of blooms that is hard to fathom by having more blooms than leaves. Very hardy, vigorous, and in Z6 Columbus, and if left by itself, can easily get to 6' tall and 10' wide and make a superb hedge rose. Definitely one to consider and I will have to catch some pictures of it in it's more mature state later and post them.
This is definately an outstanding disease resistant rose. I purchased 50+ roses this year and have had trouble with blackspot, mildew and rust on most of the other roses.[It has been unusually wet in Saskatchewan] Frontenac has had no signs of any of the diseases. This rose hasn't stopped blooming and the color is a very vivid rosy pink. Pictures of this rose do not do it justice.
