We hope to give great joy to all rose lovers with this excellent new cultivar. This hybrid tea has large, high-centered, cream-coloured buds on long, stiff stalks, which expand to full blooms with apricot-coloured center even in bad weather, and which exhale a strong tea rose fragrance. The lush growth, the healthy foliage and the willingness to bloom until into autumn are further merits. This lovely rose also lasts long in the vase and is of striking beauty as room and table decoration: A fairytale-like delicate appearance of indescribable nobility, charmingly reminding of the magic world of Midsummer Night's Dream. Surely we are not wrong when we prophecy a great future as cutting and garden rose. Blumenschmidts Elfenkönigin was awarded at the German Rose Show 1938 at Forst i.d.L.
