'Gallivarda' rose Reviews & Comments

They had this in the display garden at Heirlooms for years. Unfortunately, never for sale. It was an amazing hybrid tea there. Always looks nice. Average size plant with large blooms with nice form. Color was very unique. I would not call it brown. I dont know where some descriptions get that. It was more like an ochre yellow overlaid with a heavy stippling of light red. It produced a very unusual affect that I have also seen on a miniature called Golden Beryl, except less pronounced on that rose.
It is a shame it wasnt ever offered for sale, because what few yellow bicolors are available to buy, are often washed out in any sun.
