Well-shaped bud carried erect and opening into a large fine flower of perfect form. Dark velvety crimson, flushed scarlet at the edge of petals and veined scarlet. Very free flowering; sweetly scented. We have been strongly impressed by its great beauty of form and rich color. Evidently a Rose which is supreme in beauty, and just a little lacking in vigor. Recently reported by a few enthusiasts as one of the finest new Roses. $2.50.

Parfum délicieux. Bouton de belle forme porté par un pédoncule long et érigé.

Quite supersedes 'George Dickson' and all roses of that shade. Well shaped bud, carried erect and opening into a large, beautifully shaped flower. Large bold petals of fine substance. Retains its colour to the last. Very free flowering. Very strong sweet tea scent. Growth bushy and upright. Perpetual flowering. Dark green foliage on strong upright stems. Few thorns; hardy. Not liable to mildew. 4/- each. The best growth to date is only 12 to 15 inches; semi-double only.
