Rosen-Zeitung March 1911 states that there are 2 distinct 'Georg Arends': one from Hinner, one from Eschmar

What makes it interesting is that E. Fischer's other rose, 'Elise von Schwichow', was offered through Hinner.

Fischer's 'Georg Arends' added. The references from Rosen-Zeitung make it very dubious. According to Hinner it was one of his seedlings sent for testing to Fischer, which was introduced by Fischer as his to cash in on the name.

Georg Arends developed the Astilbe. I loved this rose but it balled in the rain and never recovered.
