‘Selwyn Toogood’. Eagle 1983. ‘Heidi’ seedling. Medium rose pink. The buds are lightly mossed, the foliage is light green and the plant is slow growing. The Eagles called it after Selwyn Toogood, the jovial host of Beauty and the Beast who always wore a rose in his buttonhole. During winter it was hard to get full-sized roses so the Eagles supplied him with miniatures and their perfect form delighted him. They named this mini as a tribute to him.
