Fojo's own work...Condesa de Benahavis (1949), which is very pleasing, indeed considered a perfect rose, with its attractive shade of salmon-pink, its perfume and its continuous flowering......Condesa de Benahavis, the distinguished lady dedicatees bearing these names and titles. All were his mentors and assisted in realising his gardening and floriculture projects. Hos most recent work was the garden of "Santa Marta" in Somió (Gíjon), owned by the last lady; excelling with, among other flowers, with the choicest varieties of roses.
