Website/Catalog (1915) Page(s) 89. Mrs. S. T. Wright (Tea and Decorative). A delightful rose such as this requires little description at our hands, being as it is a sport from that prime favourite rose ‘Harry Kirk’. Its fascinating colours are as difficult to portray as they are ensnaring. The guard petals are delicate cadmium old gold, the centre petals have a delicate and charming suffusion of delightful, pure rose-pink on cadmium orange chrome – a very intense, silk finished apricot. It has splendid constitution. Its dark, bronzy green, graceful foliage and wood make a delightful contrast against the uniquely coloured blooms, which have a deliciously pervading Hybrid Persian perfume. It is very floriferous. Indeed a truly beautiful and genuine New Rose, and well worthy of a place in every garden. 5/- each.
