Discovered by Victor Lens (1889 - 1969) (Belgium, 1941).
Introduced in Belgium by Lens Roses/Louis Lens N.V./Pépinières Louis Lens SA in 1945 as 'Princesse Joséphine-Charlotte'.

Class:

Polyantha.

Bloom:

Coral-pink to rose-pink. None to mild fragrance. Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Shade tolerant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
