Hybrid tea-scented roses. Countess of Pembroke (Bennett 1882). Very large, double, tender silky pink, very fragrant, vigorous. Descends from Adam and Charles Lefebvre. Excellent as good autumn bloomer as well as for forcing, extra fine rose.

Hyb. thé. Countess of Pembroke. Bennett 1882. Provenant des variétés Président et Charles Lefebvre; plante vigoureuse; fleur parfaite, très pleine et parfumée, rose satiné tendre; coloris tout à fait nouveau; grande, cupuliforme, odeur de Thé. Variété touffue, florifère, de la plus belle forme.

Countess of Pembroke has President as seed parent and Charles Lefèbvre as pollen parent. It is a very floriferous variety, of bushy habit. Very large bloom, arching, initially deep cup form, later forming a flat plate; expands perfectly also in rain; deep lilac-pink; emanating delicious tea fragrance. Rank: 2.
