Flower of Fairfield, a sport of 'Crimson Rambler', appeared in Germany in 1909. It produced a few flowers after the usual blooming season, and was widely heralded as an everblooming 'Crimson Rambler', but it never became popular, and is rarely seen today [1935] although a few nurseries still list it.

FLOWER OF FAIRFIELD. Ludorf, 1909. This rose enjoyed brief fame as an Everblooming Crimson Rambler. It is evidently a bright red counterpart of that variety but its everblooming character is defective.
