Armstrong has three of Dr. Lammert's originations for this year— Copper Nugget, Miss Clipper and Times Square. Copper Nugget was too much like Alister Clark's lovely Sunlit to interest me greatly, although it should be a good boutonniere Rose. The medium-sized blooms were warm, satiny pink with yellow bases, about thirty petals and a mild scent. I understand the colour in California is much darker and deserves the "Copper" in its name.
