Found two descriptions and two photos that, in spite of some discrepancies (the colour pink/orange with some cyclamen), agree tha it is a HT and not a floribunda!

I’ve been nibbling at these roses. As far as I can see there was
Paris 2000. DELsamo. (HT. Delbard, 1974) – an orange with cyclamen HT
Paris 2000. DELav. (Shrub, Delbard, <2001) – a lavender pink shrub

It would appear the majority of the photos in the 1974 file are the 2001 lavender pink shrub and need moving. Would you confirm my thinking with these two please. It has all been a little confusing but I think we are right now.

I am back with a partial answer to my questions!
As you can see from the Revue Horticole 1974 references, Paris 2000 and Vivre are two different roses!
By comparing the description of Vivre with the photos in HMF it is evident that they are not the same rose. In fact the flowers of this rose should be solitary and should have a large number of petals. Also the colour is wrong as it should be shrimp pink.
Unfortunatly I did not manage to get the description of Paris 2000 reported in Revue Horticole but the one reported in L’Italia Agricola is compatible (number of petals, colour) with the photos of both Paris 2000 and Vivre.

Still unanswered is the question of which rose won Monza trials!!
By the way, Delbard in Revue Horticole gives, for Paris 2000, a lineage different from that reported in HMF.

I got lost because of some conflicting information about the rose Paris 2000.

Paris 2000 was reported, in L’Italia Agricola 1974, to be the winner of the gold medal in the HT trial in Monza (silver medal to Madame Louis Armand by Croix). In HMF this rose is listed as floribunda and no indication of this award is reported. Paris 2000 in HMF is attributed to Georges Delbard but it is not listed with this name among the roses he bred.

The HT Vivre, attributed in HMF to G. Delbard and listed among the roses he bred, in HMF is also reported to be the winner of the gold medal in the HT trial in Monza. The 1975 reference (The Rose Annual) attributes this HT rose to Georges Delbard and lists it as the winner of the Gold Medal in the HT Monza trial 1974 (silver medal Louis Armand by Croix). In HMF this rose is not listed among the roses bred by Georges Delbard.

Are Paris 2000 and Vivre the same rose? Is L'Italia Agricola wrong?
