Website/Catalog (1926) Page(s) 25. New Roses for 1926. Dixie (HT W. R. Gray) Soft shell pink or pale salmon of similar shade to 'Mrs. Chas J. Bell' and both roses originated from the same parent, viz., 'Pink Radiance'. 'Dixie' is more double and more cupped in shape than 'Mrs. Bell'. When fully expanded, the flower is exceedingly handsome. Grand habit and good foliage. Fragrant and very free flowering. In the bud stage this rose is not so good, but the beauty is disclosed as the flower expands. 4/- each. Really too much like 'Mrs. Chas. J. Bell' to warrant 2 varieties.

This Rose originated at our place here in Oakton, and is offered now for the first time ; it is a Radiance Rose of a bright, salmon color, but more double than Radiance, petals incurved, making a cup-shaped bloom, size and habit of plant exactly the same as Radiance. This Rose is much the same color as the Rose Mrs. Chas. Bell, but is more double and cup-shaped. Price, regular 2-year size, own root, $1.50 each.
