We are hoping that Virgo, with its exquisite spiral form and good substance, will supply the long felt want in whites. Both Caledonia and later, Doris Grace Robinson, showed early promise in this direction, but the growth in both instances has not been wholly satisfactory.

Thrips have marred many of the blooms. It is very promising.
