Bred by Pelletier (before 1850) (France, 1827).
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Ruby-red, lighter edges.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Dense foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
