Book (1911) Page(s) 69-70. The Wichuraiana Hybrids. The following list includes most of the best Wichuraiana Roses to date (1910): Tricolore. — This Rose is very striking but not really beautiful. It bears flowers, some of which are all white, some all crimson-lake, while some are white shaded with crimson in the centre. They have a distinct resinous fragrance. The flowers appear from June 20th.

Weigand - Soden, i.e. a German, with the hybrid wichuraiana Ernst Grandpierre (1900), and since then came some very good varieties from fim, such as the magnificent Anna Rübsamen (1904), whitish pink, very long lasting, and 1906 and 1908 followed his Frau Albert Fischer, Marie Weinbach, Tricolore, carmine and flesh-pink, blooms in a cluster, occasionally also half-red and half-white in a bloom, and lastly, Frau Albert Hochstrasser which is listed as repeat-blooming (light silvery pink, in the colour of Tausendschön). The repeat is however not very good, i.e. not better than many others.
