'Hildenbrandseck' rose Reviews & Comments

Lambert wrote in his catalogue from 1938, that Hindenbrandseck is bred from R. rugosa atropurpurea x Frau Karl Druschki. It seems to be very similar in growth to R. rugiosa atropurpurea. I suppose, the R. paulii is not the parent of Hildenbrandseck.

Another reference from the Lambert catalogue:

Hildenbrandseck (P. Lambert 09). Strong bush, heavily armed wood, flowers medium size, semi-filled, brilliant crimson. Blooms from June to late chills. (R. rugosa atropurpurea x Druschki)
