<p>I like everything about this except that it needs bigger blooms which may come with maturity. The flowers are a beautiful consistent subtle orange color and have consistently nice form. The flowers just need more fragrance. The foliage is very vigorous growing, bushy, and healthy with no blackspot or mildew. I spray about every three weeks for disease. Insects don't seem attracted to the blooms very much.</p>
<p> </p>UPDATE: My Elvis aka Miss Elvis bush is now entering her 6th year in my gardn this year. This has been one of the most consistant performers in my garden. I have never had any disease or pest problem with it and the winter hardiness it displays every year in my zone 5b/6a garden here in Northwest Missouri is wonderful. I always have 6 or so good healthy canes to start the Spring with on this bush. It grows to a nice rounded shape every year with very little pruning required on my part to get the correct shape. It is just a wonderful all around bush that supports a very vigorous blooming. The flowers are always a subtle shade of orange that is not harsh in any way. Many orange colored roses can be very glaring and they have their place, but this is a soft color that is easy on the eye. The blooms are not large for the most part but are an acceptable size nonetheless. With disbudding you can get larger blooms that could well compete on the trophy hunter's search for exhibition perfection. I am content to let it flower naturally so that I get more quantity of bloom for my garden. I only wish that the rose blooms had some fragrance, that would make this an almost perfect rose. I don't know how many more years I have to enjoy this bush that I got originally from Steve Singer at Wisconsin Roses, but I can rest assured that I will make every attempt at replacing it when this bush is no longer viable.
