I'm hoping someone knows of the Lens rose, Pink Mystery, still growing somewhere in the United States. I grew it years ago and did my best to spread it around to keep it going here, but everyone seems to have also lost it. I would like very much to obtain it again. Might anyone know of an American or Canadian source for it, please? Thank you. Kim Rupert

Wonderful, thank you! Hopefully they do respond and still have it. This will be exciting to see!

Yes they responded and it could be in the Lens collection of theirs. Since it was a favorite, they thinks so although I guess there was a lot of roses to go through. Once the weather clears for them, perhaps we will know.

That seems to be good news for You Kim!
To be sure, I planted two plants in my garden. But at the Lens nursery they took this rose up again in their assortment and propagated it.

IF I can get a big enough pool, I would love to be able to import this rose and many of Len's other hybrids.

Has there been a response to your inquiry about it, Jakub? Why spend that kind of time, effort and money, then tie up that kind of space for up to two years-plus, if it can be located here?

And... Did You obtain this rose?
Alas in my garden both plants died. Maybe due to the spot it was planted? Partial shade and under the big oaks.
Will try this rose again at a more sunny spot.

Hi Jakub, it's been quite a while, but was there ever a response from rosethyme about Pink Mystery? I notice it's been over a year since they've been on HMF and that usually means a "closed door". Hopefully that isn't the case...

I remember she said it passed away in a heat wave, but I will double check my emails.

I was told today by a staff member, that this rose also grows in the garden of the Louis Lens nv Nursery.
Kim told me it doesn't grow any more in his own garden.
