Bred by D.A. Fankhauser (Australia, 1967).
Introduced in Australia by Ross Roses in 1968 as 'Welcome Stranger'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Strong fragrance.  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Compact, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, glossy, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.
