Another new bloom, again with stronger yellow tones and hardly any traces of pink.

Various Peacey bits, at different stages of development. The buds start off quite elegant, but then go through a weird scruffy stage while in the process of fully opening. The final flower is again quite elegant. It's just the stage in the middle that looks a bit funny. This doesn't happen with the parent (G. Nabonnand). That one is pure elegance from start to finish. Peace's stamens are a pale olive green.

Same plant, just a day later. Photo taken around sunset. Another new bloom, even more yellow and less pink than the last one. The bloom at the left is the one shown in photo #286254. The bloom at the right is the new one.

Second bloom about to open. First one had no trace of lemon/yellow in it. This one does, at least at this stage of development. Still has the same pink edges as the first bloom. Young plant. 7 weeks in the ground. Got blown over in a gale the other day, but doesn't seem bothered. On multiflora, from Thomas for Roses.

Lemony tones coming through in this bloom, but still with pink edges. Looking remarkably like Meilland's 'Peace' can look at times, albeit with fewer petals.

Late summer, South Australia, zone 9b. Sprawling in front of its pinker sport parent, G Nabonnand.

Another shot, showing the elegance of the opened flower compared to the somewhat scruffy intermediate stage. No thorns anywhere so far, and great foliage.

'Peace'. 006. Nov 06, 2014. An own-root cutting taken in February, 2014 from my first plant [see my photo 005]. This second plant likes the amended soil in a more open bed and the bloom size was quite large. Am watching those pink tones.
