Flinders. Thompson 2000. An outstanding Australian bred ground cover rose. Large clusters of rose pink rosette type blooms are borne freely in a spectacular display right along the branches. Very quick to repeat bloom. A wonderful disease resistant low maintenance rose. 0.5 x 1.5m.

Maureen Ross. Australian Roses for 2001 Flinders (TOMfair). One of our 'Explorer Series' of landscape roses. This dense groundcover rose will naturally cover up to 2 square metres by 500mm high. If maintained with a light trim it is a more compact, low spreading shrub suitable for smaller gardens. Branches are covered with masses of small, ruffled, mid-pink flowers over a long flowering season. A fruity fragrance is an added bonus. Named to commemorate Matthew Flinders exploration of southern Australia 200 years ago. Plant Patent Pending.
