Kardinal (H.T.) has full, cup-shaped flowers of good form, fiery-crimson, shaded with darker red, borne upon plants of vigorous but dwarf and compact habit. Krause 1934...Medium growth. Fragrant....June-September. Hardy.

Kardinal.—A very noticeable Rose of a brilliant scarlet-red, with a lovely bloom on the petals. Kardinal and Chris Stone are two delightful red Roses, and are both worth a place in the garden.

Kardinal.- Very moderate growth, but has flowered freely. Flowers full and of a good lasting colour. Should be useful if the growth improves.

Kardinal (Max Krause) is a seedling of 'Chateau de Clos Vougeot', with particularly brilliant colour, but only twenty-five to thirty petals. The blooms are scented, but growth is rather weak, which is a matter for regret.

Large, full flower of fine form; light green disease resisting foliage and strong, straight stems; compact, bushy growth and free branching habit. Sweet scent. One of the most glowing scarlet reds in commerce. 4/- each.
Particularly brilliant. ​Semi-double flowers, 25 to 30 petals.​ Looks particularly promising.
