I grew up with a fabulous climbing rose on the back wall of our backyard in the county of Los Angeles. My mother called it a Pink Hadley. It had wonderful long, thick straight stems with a large tea rose that went from a pale yellow center to pink with a dark pink edge. It had a strong fragrance. I have tried to find one to purchase, but the only person I have talked to who had heard of this rose was an elderly gardener who had not heard of it for about 50 years! Please let me know if you find one.
