Roses.
E. Godfrey Brown, Vigorous, upright growth, enormous flowers of splendid form. Colour deep reddish crimson, of even shade, which keeps its colour well. A magnificent exhibition Rose, with petals of great size and substance, very full and high centred; class: Hybrid Tea; habit of growth: vigorous.

E. Godfrey Brown. (H.T., Hugh Dickson). This Rose was very finely shown and was perhaps a little unlucky. It is of strong upright growth, with handsome deep green foliage. The blooms, which are fairly large, are of excel­lent form, slightly cupped, and freely produced, with stout petals prettily reflexed. The colour is an attractive deep rich red. A fine Exhibition Rose, it will also be useful for garden and bedding purposes. Will be placed in commerce in 1919.
