Empire Queen. Hybrid Tea. (W. Easlea & Sons, 1925.) Large ovoid buds, and double, very lasting flowers of brilliant cerise, moderately fragrant, and borne on long stems. Foliage leathery, not immune to mildew. Growth vigorous, upright; continuous bloomer.
A hybrid of Cherry Page X Vanessa, of the same general type as Elsie Beckwith. A massive, perfectly formed flower of exhibition quality.
