Sherri Berglund: Rose Sleuth Fred Boutin.
'Souvenir de Pierre Notting'. Fred's first re-collection of this 1895 tea rose, which was bred by Soupert & Notting, was in the Southern California town of Julian. He also found a climbing sport of this rose, but it grew at a rental house and was cut down. Unfortunately Fred's cuttings did not survive, and the rose is not currently in commerce.
