Very vigorous and floriferous; leaves medium sized, glossy above, glaucous beneath; buds ovoid, flower erect, cupped; petals streamlined, concave at the base, folding back elegantly at the tip; carmine pink within, with a large straw yellow nub; exterior bordered bright pink on a ground of pale canary yellow. Magazine (1 Jul 1904) Page(s) 20. Madame Pierre Guillot is another beautifully margined rose, but is, unfortunately, rather a poor grower. The clumsily-named Souvenir de Rosieriste Rambeaux on the contrary is a very vigorous grower and frequent bloomer, and for garden decoration one of the best. The blooms are large and sweet, of cupped form, but not full.
