Origin:
Discovered by Unknown (before 1778).
Bloom:
Light pink to red, darker center. Average diameter 1". Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Light green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 1' to 20" (30 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Breeder's notes:
Branches die off after one, utmost two years.
