Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Californica.
Bloom:
Lavender. Strong, citrus fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Short, bushy, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy foliage.
Height: 2' (60cm). Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden. Benefits from winter protection in colder climates. flowers drop off cleanly. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Cut back one-half every other year. Prune lightly or not at all. Remove spent blooms only. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
Breeder's notes:
This rose is slow to establish on its own roots and requires the best of everything to look its best. It's probably best in a pot.
Deadhead frequently and don't prune it too hard.
