Russet Floribunda, Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Julia's Rose
Bloom:
Russet. [Cream.] Unusual colouring of cream, caramel and peach.. Mild fragrance. 20 to 22 petals. Average diameter 4". Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Dark green foliage.
Height: 2' to 42" (60 to 105cm). Width: 18" to 3' (45 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders or garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
Heirloom Roses says this rose is named for Lady Julia Clements. Often confused in commerce with 'Café' (Foliage is different: Young shoots of 'Julia's Rose' are reddish, mature leaves dark green). Shinomiya nursery lists breeder as B. Tysterman.
'Julia's Rose' was "found" as "Pashley Manor Rose" and re-introduced for a short period as 'Chocolate Rose'.
