Origin:
Bred by Hippolyte Duval (France, before 1838).
Introduced in France by Victor Verdier et fils in 1838 as 'Clémentine Duval'.
Class:
Hybrid Bourbon, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink to light pink, lilac shading.  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long sepals, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
